人＋疑問詞＋to で出る誤りは、ほぼ3つです。Please tell to me what to do. と、日本語の「私に」につられて to を足す。Can you teach me the way to the station? と、道を教えるのに teach を使う。Can you show me how do I use it? と、疑問文の語順を文の中に入れる。どれも「動詞のすぐあとに人、そのあとに疑問詞＋to」という並びと、tell・show・teach の違いを、意味のある場面で聞いたことがないまま形を覚えた誤りです。この授業案は、ALTの先生が日本に来て教わったことを話し、教えてくれた人を当てるクイズから入ります。6回とも、教わったことは人（me）のあとに出てきます。

授業の流れ（50分）
導入: だれに教わった？（15分）
ALTの先生（来ていない日は先生が ALT 役）が「日本に来て、いろいろな人に教わった。だれに教わったか当てて」と言い、6つの話をします。画面の下（または黒板）に札を3つ出し、話を1文ずつ足していきます。
- On my first day at this school, I stood at the entrance with my shoes in my hand.
- Someone showed me where to put them.
- He was only twelve. His school bag was very new.
札は the principal／a first-year student／the school nurse。3文目で1年生に決まります。答えのあと、2文目の Someone を答えの人に替えて A first-year student showed me where to put my shoes. と読み、板書して showed と me の下に線を引きます。以降はゴミの日（My neighbor told me when to take out the garbage.）、給食のあいさつ（This class taught me what to say before lunch.）、駅（A high school student showed me how to get to Platform 3.）、納豆（The principal taught me how to eat natto.）、カタカナの名前（A little girl showed me how to write my name.）と進みます。答えのたびに Can you tell me where to put my umbrella? のように1つたずね、生徒が英語で教えます（In the umbrella stand.）。
気づき: 人は、動詞のすぐあと（8分）
板書の6文を指して問います。「教わったことの前に、いつも何がある？」——me です。3文を表に分けます。

続けて動詞を比べます。tell は言葉で、show はやって見せる・連れて行く、teach は技能や知識を教える。道を聞くときは tell か show で、teach は使いません。最後に誤りを3つ板書して直させます。Please tell to me what to do.（me の前の to は要らない）、Can you teach me the way to the station?（Can you tell me how to get to the station?）、Can you show me how do I use it?（how to use it）。
展開: 「教えて！」カード（17分）
ペアで、A がALTの先生役、B が教える役です。A は下の一覧から場面を1つ選び、Can you tell me ～? か Can you show me ～? でたのみます。B は言葉で教えるか、身ぶりでやって見せ、A は Thank you. Now I know how to call a server! のように返します。1つ30秒で交代し、相手を替えて2回。

紙は回収して ALT の先生に渡し、次の時間に ALT の先生が1つ選んで、教室で本当に教わります。

「教わったことは、人のあと。tell・show・teach＋人＋疑問詞＋to」と、板書の6文を指して終わります。
定着・受験への接続
入試では Can you tell me how to get to the station? の整序と、道案内の対話の空所で出ます。出口の申し出の1文目（I can show you how to ～.）は、英作文でそのまま使える形です。
前の時間の疑問詞＋to（I don't know what to do.）は『もしもの時、どうする？——ALTの先生に渡す防災カード』です。不定詞の名詞的用法の導入は『先生の人生やりたいことリスト』、副詞的用法は『ここ、何しに来る場所？』。練習は不定詞の定着ドリルと10分小テストへ。Premium では不定詞の使い分けワークシートに続きます。
